As I-95 bends toward the sea, Exits 29, 36 and 38 are the ingress and egress to Brunswick's residential, education and employment areas.   • A new $110,000,000 high span bridge recently opened a new era for the Brunswick port.

  • Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) adding 1200 suites at a cost of $80 Million.

  • A $158 Million Heritage Theme Park to begin along I-95 on the western edge of the county.

  • A $108 Million retirement center called Marshes Edge is in site preparation stage.

  • "Brunswick Landing" a huge new downtown marina complex with beautiful slips, shopping with-in walking distance and a casino ship is adding convenience to this maritime community.

  • The Cloister is undergoing a $200 Million renovation with added amenities.

  • Per Capita Income at $29,500 is the highest in Georgia outside of metro Atlanta.

Brunswick and Glynn County is proud to be the home of:

  • A Division of the University of Georgia, Coastal Georgia Community College provides educational and cultural services to the region.

  • The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) is tasked with training federal agents from all agencies excluding FBI and has a major positive impact on the community. This center is a major factor in Homeland Security.

  • Southeast Georgia Health System - Brunswick Campus which recently completed a $60 Million expansion.
